One month old

I know all I post about anymore is Parker and I apologize if anyone is getting bored of her, but she consumes my life, hence I only post about her! I CANNOT BELIEVE she is already a month old! Where did the time go??? It has gone so fast and before she was born I already dreaded that she would just never stop growing and now it is a reality. Before I know it she will be two months old! What am I gonna do?Her 4 week old picture (well, one of them)
She wasn't too happy but she still looks pretty cute even when she's crying.

I just had to post this picture. Kory took it while he was holding her. Her little mouth just cracks me up! She's just so dang cute!
I also need to thank everyone who has shown Kory and I such support during these last few months. I am so blessed to have such wonderful parents who have spent a countless amount of money, time, and effort on Parker and I. I have wonderful siblings who are so great with Parker and such great babysitters.
Thanks to Kory's parents and siblings and grandparents, they too have given so much to us as well. They are so supportive of us and they show Parker sooo much love!
Thanks to all of mine and Kory's friends who have invited us to hang out and take a break.
And a special thanks to all of the people I work with at Sports Academy. Thanks for all the showers, gifts, phone calls, etc. Thanks Dan for being so casual about me being gone. Thanks sooo much to Kelly who is taking over ALL the responsibility while I am gone, you are wonderwoman!

Growing and growing!

I cannot believe how fast my little girl is growing! On the 14th, she had her two week appointment. She weighed 8 lbs. 1 oz. and she measured at 20 1/2 inches. I took this picture at exactly two weeks old (on the 13th). Don't you just love her big eyes?

Having a nap with mommy.

Last night we finally decided to be brave and give her a bath in the tub. At first she peed in the towel, I learned to keep her diaper on until the last minute. She enjoyed it a little at first but then started crying.

When we wrapped her in the towel after the bath, she started sucking her thumb.

As of today, my little Parker Lynn is just over a week and a half old! I cannot believe it, it seems like I was just in the hospital yesterday. When she turned a week old, I bawled to Kory because it went so fast. She is so cute and I just love her so much. Having a new baby has definitely been the hardest thing I've ever dealt with, I can hardly remember what life was like before she came. It is worth it though, we are slowly adjusting and I know things will only get better with time.

A few days ago my dad took a bunch of pictures for her birth announcement, this is one of them. She is such a beautiful baby, pictures don't do her justice.

This was her first time in her swing. She looks like she was crying but actually she really likes it. She falls right asleep. I'm pretty sure this was the day she turned a week old.

This is one of my most favorite pictures of her face.

The littlest aggie fan.

She sure hates her bathtime. So far we've only done full body wipedowns with a washcloth, she screams the whole time. I can't wait to see how she reacts to a real bath!

Parker is here!!!

She finally made it here! I guess I shouldn't really say finally because I was expecting her to come on January 5th. My water broke at about 2 a.m. on Tuesday December 30. I definitely am not a fan of water breaking! It sent me into the BIGGEST panic attack I've ever had! I shot right out of bed and starting freaking out! I was shaking so bad. I think it was mostly because we were not prepared- we had absolutely nothing packed for the hospital, so we had to take about an hour before we went to the hospital before to do that. I bawled all the way to the hospital and kept telling Kory, "I'm not ready..."
She finally came at 4:57 p.m. She weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz. (smaller than I thought) and was 20 inches long.

Sleeping peacefully at one day old.

Proud papa. I feel bad for Kory, it was a stressful day for him but he hid it pretty well.

Please try not to be jealous of my beautiful hair and hospital gown that makes me look 250 pounds.

Her grandmas love her veeeerrrry much!

One day old.

These last two pictures were taken at 5 days old. I can't believe she is already 5 days old! I know it hasn't been very long but I'm a little sad that much time has already passed. It is hard for me to even remember how my life was before she was born- it is a complete night and day difference. I never knew I could love one person so much. Sometimes I just look at her and cry. She is the best thing I've ever done.

Baby Update

I went to the doctor on Christmas eve morning. I am dialated to a one, which has been the case for the last three doctor visits in a row. I'm not sure how effaced I am, but it doesn't really matter because things are not really progressing. I think this little girl just likes it where she is. So I am scheduled to be induced on Monday, January 5th. It's funny because the whole time I've been pregnant, I've had a feeling she would be late, no matter what other people say. There is still time for things to change, but I honestly just don't think they will. I will call the hospital that morning and they will call me back with a time to come in. My doctor called and got me on the list (or so she said she would) because if they are really busy, they will push me back even further. And I know it is a really busy time for babies because it seems like every woman I see is pregnant!

The Home Stretch!

Well, as of today I officially have a week and a half until my due date! Unless she is late, which I have a feeling she may be. I'm actually hoping she won't come until January because I really don't want a December baby. I am not completely miserable, I could hang in there a few more days, but if she comes in December I will still love her! And my mom made a good point that the longer she waits, the bigger she may be!
My whole pregnancy I have been eerily calm about having baby, not really scared at all, but these last few weeks I have really started freaking out! I have all these what-ifs running through my head:
What if she is born huge?
What if she is born with a deformed head?
What if she is an unhappy baby?
What if she stops breathing during the night?
What if I don't have everything I need?
What if I can't get her to stop crying?
What if I just don't know what to do???
I know that these are worries that every first time mom has, and everyone tells me I will be fine, but I still always have the worry in my head that it won't be fine.

I haven't really taken a whole lot of pregnant pictures so last night we took some of me standing next to my cute Christmas tree that I love (with no presents under it yet, we are a little last minute this year!)

I had a fourth ultrasound about two weeks ago because my belly was measuring small. Well, it turns out she is average, meaning she really could be huge by the time she gets here! This is the best picture of her face they got. Her hand is covering the left eye, but on the right side, you can see her big chubby cheek! She's also got really fat lips too. I really am concerned about her looking deformed looking because the ultrasound tech took several 3-D pictures and profile pictures, and they look completely weird!
But don't worry, the tiny little arrow is showing that it is still a girl!

More baby showers

My cute neighbor (well, actually my mom's cute neighbor) Robin threw me my third baby shower. She did some of the cutest things, she made me a little baby scrapbook for me to put pictures in. I should have taken a picture of it, it's the cutest thing ever. She also came up with the genius idea of having thank you notes and envelopes in a basket- everyone wrote their address on an envelope so I wouldn't have to go to any work finding addresses after I write thank you notes! Thanks Robin for all the hard work you went to! Also thanks to my mom, Bonnie and Debbie!

Kory's mom actually threw me my second shower which was so much fun and I also really appreciate the hard work she went to. But I'm sad because I brought my camera and forgot to actually take any pictures, which I'm really mad about. I hope I can actually remember to take pictures when my baby is born!
